Getting Started

The Tote Partner API provides a GraphQL endpoint that can be used to query the Tote for information on Events, Products and Bets as well as placing bets. The GraphQL provides a complete and understandable description of the data available, giving you the ability to ask for exactly what you need and nothing more.

Key Concepts

Concept	Description
Products	Are the things that you place a bet on (or buy). They have one or more legs containing selections for you to pick from as well as defining the bet type which provides all of the rules for the bet. Product can also be thought of as a Market if you are more familiar with that term.
Events	Provide information about the events that are occuring that products maybe based on such as a Horse race or Football match
Ticket	A container for bets, which were placed at the same time with the Tote.
Bets	The bet placed at the Tote, which include information such as its current Status, the amount staked as well as any returns on bets that won.
